How It Works

Find a Participating Dealer

Choose from our list of dealerships. Let us know about any dealerships you would like to purchase an EV from by completing this form, and we'll work to get them on the list. TIP: Apply for pre-purchase EV incentives before you buy or lease.

Purchase an Eligible EV

Buy or lease a qualifying new or used EV or plug-in hybrid. Any EV or P-HEV that plugs in will qualify for the rebate. The dealership will verify if you are eligible for MCE's EV Instant Rebate. You must register the car with the DMV at the address associated with your PG&E bill.

Receive Your Instant Rebate When You Buy!

Your rebate is added to your bill as a discount when you pay. The instant rebate must be provided by the retailer or dealer at the time of purchase. TIP: Get help from our program partner, Energy Solutions, to apply for post-purchase incentives.
